Google Calendar Integration

Bi-directional Google Calendar sync, dedicated secondary calendar, and automatic schedule updates.

Google Calendar Integration

Attendrix seamlessly syncs your academic timetable to your personal Google Calendar, ensuring lecture schedules appear on your smartwatches, desktop calendars, and mobile widgets.

Why Attendrix Calendar Sync is Different

  1. Dedicated Secondary Calendar:
    • Creates a clean, isolated calendar named "Attendrix".
    • Your academic classes are never mixed into your primary personal calendar, keeping your personal events uncluttered.
  2. Zero Duplicate Events:
    • Uses cryptographic deterministic event IDs derived from your student ID and class slot.
    • Timetable updates modify the exact same event rather than creating duplicate entries.
  3. Automatic Reschedule Reconciliation:
    • If an administrator reschedules a lecture from 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM or changes the room, your Google Calendar updates automatically in the background.
  4. Clean Disconnection:
    • Disconnecting your Google account completely purges the Attendrix calendar from your Google account with zero leftover orphaned events.
